Acute Care/Med Surg RNs provide professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to: Initiate accurate and ongoing assessment of physical, psychological and social problems of assigned patients. Obtain subjective and objective data through history taking, physical examination, review of records and communication with patient, significant others, and caretakers, as appropriate. Use assessment techniques and criteria that are pertinent to the patient’s age-specific physical, psychological, and social needs. Identify nursing diagnoses/ patient care needs. Implement plan of care for the patient based on assessment data, nursing diagnoses/potential complications, physician orders. Safely and properly administer medications, treatments, procedures, and dressings. Full time (days), Part time (nights), and PRN (all shifts) available. RN license and BLS required. ACLS and PALS strongly preferred.
The Building Technician/Materials Clerk is a shared position by the Plant Operations and Materials Management Departments which assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of hospital in good repair and is responsible for providing timely distribution of supplies and equipment to hospital departments. May perform occasional outside delivery and pickups. Minor electrical work, mechanical repairs and other duties relating to maintenance are included in the scope of primary duties. The Materials Management Clerk is responsible for providing timely distribution of supplies and equipment to hospital departments, maintaining a high level of customer service, and a strong orientation to team efforts. Perform outside delivery and pickups as required. Assist with physical count of inventory. High school diploma or equivalent required Associates degree in engineering, architecture, safety, construction management or related field preferred. Five to eight years experience in related career field, preferably in a health care facility. Combination of education and experience is accepted. PART TIME. 24-31 hours per week.
Pikes Peak Regional Hospital Medical Clinic- Opening early fall!The Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced-Practice Registered Nurse who acts as a Physician extender in the clinic setting. The FNP is responsible for providing care for and management of patients who do not require specialized treatment. The FNP provides a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring that the social, economic, emotional, physical and family dynamics of each patient are acknowledged and addressed. The FNP provides observation over the processes of patient care from arrival through follow up, in an independent and interdependent manner, ensuring effective working relationships with all members of the medical team. Graduation from an accredited Masters level Advanced Nurse Practitioner Program, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (or board eligible), Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Colorado in good standing, DEA Registration, minimum 2 years’ experience.
Internal and External Posting The Sonographer performs a variety of technical skills involved in operating sonographic equipment for diagnosis and evaluation of designated portions of the body. Graduate of a AMA approved Sonography Program. Must be ARDMS or ARRT (sonography) BLS required, RVT credential required. Weekend call will be every other weekend. Hours TBD.
Internal and External Posting The Radiologic Technologist/CT performs a variety of technical skills involved in operating radiographic equipment for diagnosis and evaluation of designated portions of the body. Practices proper entries and records on Radiology Information System and Hospital Information System. Prepares patient for radiographic and CT procedures by accurately assessing patient’s needs and providing patient education. Position patient using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary. Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures and special radiographic procedures. Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology program ARRT registry required. Proof of CT Registration required and IV/contrast credentialed, if applicable. BLS certification required
